4. Quotations
All sales are conducted on a quotation basis only. Quotations are provided subject to availability. Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices quoted exclude VAT unless explicitly stated.
Delivery, installation, commissioning, training, and ancillary costs are will be specified in the quotation.
No contract shall exist until a quotation has been formally accepted and confirmed in writing by TrakMet UK.
5. Orders & Contract Formation
An order is deemed accepted only when:
- The customer has accepted a written quotation, and
- TrakMet UK has issued written confirmation of acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to acceptance.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified within the quotation and/or order confirmation and may include:
- 20% deposit
- Balance payable prior to delivery
- Late payments may be subject to interest and recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
7. Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed. Good are insured during transit, and responsibility transfers to the customer upon receipt.
The customer is responsible for ensuring suitable access, unloading facilities, and site readiness. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control shall not constitute a breach of contract.
8. Installation & Commissioning
Where installation or commissioning services are included:
- The customer must ensure the site complies with all specified requirements.
- Any delays or additional costs arising from inadequate site preparation may be chargeable.
9. Ownership
Ownership of goods shall remain with TrakMet UK until payment has been received in full, including all applicable charges.
10. Cancellations & Returns
Equipment supplied on a bespoke or made-to-order basis cannot be cancelled once production or procurement has commenced.
Cancellation charges may apply to cover costs incurred. Returns are accepted only with prior written agreement.
Consumables and spare parts may be subject to separate return conditions.
11. Warranties
All equipment is supplied with the applicable manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and will be provided upon request. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, unauthorised modification, or incorrect operation.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, production, or business interruption.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied under the relevant contract.
- Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Health & Safety
All equipment must be:
- Installed, operated, and maintained by trained and competent personnel.
- Used in accordance with provided instructions and applicable health & safety legislation.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring site safety and regulatory compliance.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and technical documentation, is the property of TrakMet / TrakMet UK and may not be reproduced without written permission.
